SASSA Will Take Solutions to Fernie Local Community

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie two Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies for the community.

SASSA will be rendering services for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency stated it is alarmed concerning the substantial number of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The purpose in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] here is to reach-out to the substantial number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is due to lack of infrastructure website at Fernie and there is no entirely functional office devoted to service the area each day. The company level made for intervention experiences a substantial inflow SRD of potential beneficiaries, which makes it tricky for the office to attend to all people who check out a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra resources to permit the servicing of all shoppers and increase entry to Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
